Hello Friends!
"Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land, and feed on
His faithfulness."
Psalm 37:3
Good Morning! Last I'm a Sailor calls today from 091-094! Congrats to the new sailors!
Safe travel today to GL. Enjoy Sarge's MeetandGreet tonight.....be early to PIR tomorrow....you won't regret it!
For those who may be in flight today when your new sailors call, you may want to change your voicemail greeting to congratulate your sailors, tell him/her you are in flight and can't wait to see them, asking them to leave a nice long message....or two!
Hint: For those driving to PIR, stay to the left on Buckley (main drag to RTC). Car line for RTC will be on your right (be early ... remember gates open at 6:30)...bypass RTC and turn around at the train station, which is right past RTC. Head back to RTC from the opposite direction....it is an easy left turn onto RTC....no wait! Best to get there early for seating choice in your division section. We arrived at the base at 6:40, were in the PIR Hall by a little after 7, and the top row (back is a concrete wall to lean on---popular seats) and bottom row in our division section were already taken! So if you want some selection in where you sit, arrive early! We were on the 6:30 shuttle from our hotel.
Very strange, soniev. Never have heard that before with those flying out and still under RTC authority. That is NOT what it says about visits on RTC's FB page. It says that all connected to RTC (those flying out) can visit families in hotels; those at GL A School can request a chit to visit families....therein lies the problem with those students as we are hearing that the chits are not issued sometimes. Hmmmm.....
913 calling now!
