My son is Ship 13 Div 090..Go NUKES!
Mr.Baby222,
This group just got started, so just hang in there. Your form letter should almost be there! Are you able to contact your SR's recruiter? He probably has the info on his computer~~
Hello Everyone, I was told my SR would have a PIR date of the 6th but I have not even gotten a form letter yet or heard from him. It's worrying me because it seems like all of you have received the letters and heard form your SR. Can anyone suggest how I could find out or do I just continue to wait for the letter. My SR went in on the 11th and he was sick when he left. Thank you
AIRR moms with PIR 2/6 private message me if you'd like to connect!
Good Afternoon,
Just wanted to say Hello. My son / SR is on ship 14 Div 086 and his PIR date is 02/06/14. I too hope I'm am in the right group. I'm so proud of my son and anxious and nervous as well. I pray night and day they that he will push forward as he always does through his boot camp and become the Sailor he always wanted to be.
Happy Friday!
"And the grace of our Lord was
exceedingly abundant, with faith and love,
which are in Christ Jesus."
I Timothy 1:14
Good Morning and welcome to the new members!
Bluebellpa: Next step is to keep that phone glued to your body starting now so you don't miss any calls! They can be very random...even division "scheduled" ones can be changed, others can be earned. So keep it with you at all times.
Some of the divisions should be in their 1st week of training (there are 6 actual training weeks, the rest of Bootcamp being processing days when they arrive and "down" days after their final test (BattleStations) before PIR). The others are still in processing days but should be starting their training next week. Be sure to ask your SR when you hear from him/her what training week/day they are on that day and write it down. They do not have training days that count on the weekends.....Holidays mess with their count since they are also "hold" days. So it may be hard to keep up with this group since there are lots of holidays for your SRs. Just know that the lowest-numbered divisions will have their BattleStations probably Wed of Thurs night the week before PIR week. Most of them will have theirs early during PIR week (there are none on the weekends). Confusing, I know, but it will all fall into place! Won't be long before you have SAILORS! :-)
