For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Her track team has conference championships today. She loves cross country running and could not get our SR to run much before he left. He ha written that is the one thing he still struggles with. Today I am hoping to hear he passed the second PFA run.

Comment by foreverandalways3511 on January 25, 2012 at 7:57pm: I got a letter today!!! :) But it got sent to my house and I stay in my dorm at college during the week, so I am very excited for tomorrow too because I will get to go home and read my letter! I HATE knowing it is there and having to wait! haha lol and yes of course the fact that it is only 3 weeks until we will be in Great Lakes! :) Oh and FTLW that is a great picture and it is awesome they get a collar device! I am still waiting for conformation on what my boyfriend actually is haha...maybe he wrote it my letter this week. :)

Comment by Connie (Ship03 Div 070) on January 25, 2012 at 6:43pm: I am finding myself so excited that tomorrow is Thursday. That means I should have a letter from my SR. It also means 3 weeks till I am on my way to Chicago. With everything going on at work I am sure it will fly by.
