When my daughter was there they had two 900 divisions for her PIR. One was just the flag corp. They other had the choir, band, and drill team. The one that was just flags actually got to go off base and perform at some event in Chicago. I think it was a parade but I'm not sure. They got special calls that day for performing so well. I remember the moms from that division being very happy about the calls and searching the web for any pictures of their performance. I was sad that it wasn't the choir lol.

It might have been another 900 division, but not the performance one.  SR girl explained that there are three 900 divisions, but each one is different.  Can't remember what the other two were though.

Congrats to the Captain Cup winners way to go!!!!

It is rare but it seems like another 900 division won just a few weeks ago :-) Okie I think my daughter must be a little different than most. She too was in the 900 division, she was in the choir, she was in band in high school but she was also very much an athlete lol. She was a cheerleader (a flyer and tumbler) and she played 2nd base and shortstop on the high school softball team. She used to leave the sideline during football games to go out for halftime with the band in her cheerleading uniform lol. Don't ya just love small schools where they allow students to do both?

I believe it Okie! They're so busy!
Congrats to your baby! Woo-Hoo!
(I'll let Okie explain TT!)

They are the band/choir/flag corps kids.  (You know, the artsy kids in high school- NOT the athletes)

My baby will be the one totin' the Captain's Cup flag.  She was so excited.  She said it is unheard of for the triple threat group to win the cup.  A big shout-out to her RDC.

Congrats to the Captains Cup winners.  We are so close to PIR.  I wish I could pack today.

Comment by Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons on February 11, 2012 at 9:48pm

I bet this Captains cup was awesome considering they have all been through battlestations already. They have lots of days left now to practice for PIR and shine their boots lol :-)

Comment by diannep on February 11, 2012 at 9:22pm

For those who may not know:  "Integrated" means men/women in the division; non-integrated are the all-male divisions.  They have no all-female divisions....YET!

Congrats to the winners of Captains Cup!
