OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

I saw myself making my way to my Sailor Daina and I saw Daina waiting for us to get to her~~

No surprise really-just the liberty call and the camera panned the crowd-there were a few good kind of close up pics of mommas getting hugs

Spomss,

I watched the dvd late last night and saw my beautiful Daina marching by so proud!!  I couldn't get to the surprise end because the dvd started "sticking" during the Rear Admiral's speech.  I'm gonna watch it on the computer, hoping I can figure out how to fast forward it on here to get to the end~~

Yea, only 7 weeks?  Feels longer than that!!  I'm so glad that I met you.  I can picture you exactly with your curly hair!  Just think.  We "met" over your search for Vernors!!  I even called one of the big grocery stores over in the Great Lakes area and they said someone else just called looking for Vernors--bet that was you!!

Good Afternoon~~

     "I sought the Lord, and He answered me;

      He delivered me from all my fears."

Cannot believe that is has only been 7 weeks since our PIR.  Our Sailors are excelling as we knew they would, and we have learned so much more about our children.  My thoughts and prayer are with you and your Sailor as they have started to graduate from  A school and head to duty stations around the world.  Hope that everyone has found comfort and encouragement in new groups with new friends and still think of 'our' time at RTC- training us to be great Navy Moms!
