Hello!
FireTeamLeaderWife here!
My Sailor PIR’d on 05/26/2011.
I am a “veteran” mom on the PIR groups mostly. I will check in here once in a while to see if I can answer any questions and lend some support. There will be a few other veteran moms along to lend a hand and support you all through your PIR experience. diannep, LaLa Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons, Betsy, momofPensacolasailor, JessicaB Sailormom and a few new Ladies!. We have a few others that help out when we have SPECOPS in the groups, sjtina to name one. Others drop in occasionally too…plus we are always looking for more to “join the ranks”. Things change in the military and we like to give out the most current info that we can so moms that have just gone through this help a lot.
I’ll also be loading up the Discussion Forum area with lots of info to help you along during your PIR experience. Please feel free to add your own discussions and start your divisional discussions.
Welcome!
I am so thankful to have this site for all the details I never had a clue about. I'm a rookie Navy Mom and I miss my son like crazy!!
I will be adding links to the RTC [page as well as OPSEC into the Text box after Amy has added the weather and Count Down Clock!
Here is the link...they will not post the info for this TG until Monday.
http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp
Once that info is up we will add it to the Name of the group.
I checked last years TG's for March and they did not skip any weeks. If I could wait until Mondays I would...but gotta get it going! LOL They skipped the last week in FEB this year just like last year. I know they can change anything though.
Yes, we were just waiting on a confirmation of the date...I will post my info just take about 20 minutes,
Hey JessicaB...you beat me too it! LOL Thanks! I have "other" work I can get too!
