Some opt for computer time so check there too.

Then sad to say, some may be on watch and not able to call...so please if you remember...ask your new Sailor (!) if the whole division passed and post for the loved ones that may not get the call.

My liberty plans changed two days before PIR. He called on Tuesday (we had a Thursday PIR) while I was flying...and it was for the better as he got two extra days of Liberty! It was Memorial Day weekend and he was in "A" school in Pensacola...so it must have been flight availability issues or they just did it that way. Luckily, I heeded the great advice of some...ahem...very helpful veteran moms (!) and had booked through until late Sunday...if I had not...I would've lost precious time or more money for rebooking. Though I just heard that Patrick's Mom...who went to see her son (He has been in RCU, finished BC in there, no PIR but she went to see him this weekend)...the airline waived the $150.00 change fee becuase her sons liberty plans had changed! Woo-Hoo!

(Up until PIR, on the day and even after...they can also lose liberty time if somebody screws up...they can also GAIN liberty time if they do well!)

I agree with bahkmom (TY!)...My son had different times each night. Hopefully that may be when she wants to be back (actual time later) otherwise she will need to be back earlier than 7. My son wanted to be back an hour earlier than the actual time. The Ships are far from the parking lot and Gate 8 (if that's where you end up dropping them off.) He told me that they were not allowed to run or even double-time it...only walk.

I am hoping that you get a later time! These things can change up to the day of PIR! So prepare the best you can but remain flexible.

msanna71 - Okay..well, I am going to get picky and say that in a way you did post the date! Tell you what...I think it would be better to remove the post...eeehhhh...it's borderline...but better safe than sorry!
