Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Comment by HannahKathryn17 on February 29, 2012 at 2:27pm: I usually get letters on Mondays and Thursdays. I got them on Tuesday and Friday due to the holiday last week, though. I am really hoping to get some this week. I cannot wait to hear his voice again. I feel like such a horrible girlfriend. I am starting to forget this voice. I have tried voicemails, but my phone deleted them all. I have also tried videos of him, but the voices my mom thinks may be his, I don't even recognize. I know I will as soon as I hear it, but I feel completely horrible and I told him about it. I haven't gotten a response yet, but I really need that call!

I can't believe its already almost here! My mail usually comes on tuesdays and thursdays but didn't get any Tuesday. Hoping for tomorrow!

I think Mandie and I are just a little more anxious because the complete change in plans for our Sailors after PIR. WE NEED MORE INFO!!! LOL

Can't wait. I am sending out her PIR package in the morning (I am hoping that should be enough time). I am also hoping that I will get a letter today. They usually come on Wednesdays.

Comment by AmyaodRN on February 29, 2012 at 1:05pm: Well, all I got today was the large envelope I had sent for him to mail back the overflow of his letters/cards. I got a regular envelope filled with the same on Saturday. Still no real letter! I even sent 2 questionnaires last week for him.
