N4M's Community Guidelines
and
OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Good morning to all!!
Received three letters yesterday and my anxiety is gone!! LOL Just wanted to know how he was. I know he is a strong young man with a lot of passion but as a mom... we worry!

He is the leader of his division 14/210. I think he said he is the RPAC or RPOC.. Im not sure, I left the letter home. I am so proud of him and I new he had it in him. (just like mom) LOL
He mentioned that there were 84 and now down to 80. He also mentioned "mom I have 80 brothers"... AWEEEE that's awesome!! Im so excited for him and I will keep praying for 14/210 unity and strength!! Cant wait til the next letter and my first call!!

Have a fabulous and blessed weekend!! HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Received first mail from our SR. Two letters at once.  Such emotion.  Looking forward to the next letter/communication.

We got our first letters yesterday!  He thanked my husband for making him do all those push-ups in the months before he left. It was so nice to hear that, since he was not always liking my husband for that at the time. :)

He also was appointed division guidon.  I am not sure if this is a random selection or is an honor though.

Keep up the good work of waiting, moms!

Thank you ladies!!! We look forward to meeting everyone at the meet and greet.

mas-mom:  The form letter in some cases can take up to 2.5 or 3 weeks to receive.  They only mail one, so if you don't receive it, could someone else have received it?  Hoping you get it soon!

Welcome David & Terry. My son is also Ship 11 Div 206. I finally got my first letter. He said he can get mail every day but can only send mail once a week. He said to send lots of mail so I try to send at least a card or a letter every few days. I have sent some pictures too of family and pets. Only 5 weeks to go. Those first few have gone fast.
