Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

N4M's Community Guidelines and OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

LaLa--love your granddaughter's name--what a great idea for parents in Florida to get together...yes tell her to keep talking to Eastyn and ask her to wait a little longer!

Thanks so much everyone, We all really appreciate your thoughts and prayers and know that they work. She is still in the hospital and still having contractions but everyday she waits to deliver the better off she and baby Eastyn will be <3

I am happy you joined us shirleyann, I actually live in NC but travel to FL a lot and every time we do we have a meet and greet :) My hubby grew up here.

Good Morning!

hmr615:  Does she have a school photo ID?  That works. If not, you need to bring birth certificate or social security card.

Praying, Lala!

Safe travel for those leaving today!  Looking for calls today from the last sailors of this group....245/246/814!

Sorry I haven't been here in a couple days, we are in FL and getting ready to have a meet and Greet on Sunday. Anyone who lives in the Tampa/Orlando/New Port Richey and surrounding areas please join our FL facebook group so you can get all the details for the meet and greet and a scrapbook class/party Here is the link https://www.facebook.com/groups/147079298773780/
Also, my daughter/Sailor and her hubby and me and my whole family can really use your thoughts and prayers. My daughter/sailor is pregnant and due August 2nd. She fell this evening and they just admitted her to the hospital for observation. She is having contractions two and a half min apart but they are hoping they can stop them with medication. The heartbeat is good and the baby is moving so we are very hopeful. I know how well prayers work so please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks so much <3 I appreciate all of you.
