~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Good morning ladies! I'm hoping you can save me 'searching' time on here......we are staying at the Navy Lodge, cannot make Sarge's M&G the night before PIR due to another previous obligation......so I was trying to find out how to arrange to take his shuttle to the base......where to go, do I need to reserve a space, etc.... Any info would be GREATLY appreciated!
HAPPY FRIDAY ALL!! 2 more weeks... we're almost there!!!
Kaleigh's Gramma I am so sorry to hear that your SR has been set back. Sending prayers up for a speedy recovery and that she will be back in a Div real soon.. Keep us posted on her progress so that we may celebrate with you when her day comes :)
Good Morning All !
Prayers, KaleighsGramma: Just a bump in the road for her. Praying for healing and back to training for her soon! There is a group on here for those in RCU you may want to join:
http://www.navyformoms.com/group/ship04div2341?groupUrl=ship04div23...
Kaleigh't Gramma--so so sorry--will keep all of you on my prayer list--especially her--also will check with my SR to see if he knows anything--if he does I will private message you--watch the web stream and we will wave to you on the 28th...
Oh no, Kaleigh's Gramma, so sorry to hear of your SR's setback. Praying it heals smoothly and quickly~~
Kaleigh's Gramma- I'm very sorry to hear about your SR. Hopefully she is feeling better soon and able to jump back into a division asap. We'll be praying for her in our household. I don't remember where exactly I found it, but there was a link that showed me about where people are held either after boot camp for "hold" or while they're sick and it looked like nice corridors.
Bad news from our SR tonight. She has been ASMOed to medical Division 2341 and will not be graduating on 6/28. We don't know the details yet as she was only allowed a short call to tell us and give us her new address. I know she hurt her knee about 2 weeks ago, but she indicated the problem is with her foot, ankle and thigh, and something is torn.
I was so looking forward to meeting all of you at PIR :(. I know you will have a great experience on the 28th proudly watching your SRs. Our SR will get there when she's cleared and we'll get to enjoy her big day then.
