I've been busy at work and can't check email from there anymore.  I've got a big vacation coming up on the 14th for 2 weeks so I will be away for awhile.  Stephanie, I hope you get that job you want.  My ex husband delivered newspapers for many years and it was 365 brutal with no breaks.  I hope you get outta there quickly.  I understand why you signed up, but it really is like slavery.

JessicaB, it sounds like mediation helped.  You'll have to tough it out for how long?  The end of the year?  That's better than 12 mos, right?

Love you all.

Take care.

Hmm, just thought of something tonight. I need to find something to wear for graduation. San Antonio, mid-October...any suggestions?

OK, so testing went good yesterday i feel really good about it. they said they would review scores and make calls either last night or today for interviews. I got a call this morning. they needed a bit more information from me. But i did EXCELLENT on the simulation :) she said shes gonna talk to the hiring manager about my application and they will give me another call back in a day or so. UGGHHH I WANT THIS JOB THERE SO BAD!!!!

so instead of having SOME privacy during calls in you room, now you have to go to lounge?! id tell em to shove it! and id tell em what they can do with the crocodile tears and all their bs planning. and id tell her she better get off her "high and mighty" horse before i knocked her off it. i just dont have an tolerance for people like that. im too short tempered. i blame it on my irish side and being a new yorker :)

I also can't talk on the phone in here for over 10 min. I think its kinda BS seeing as im paying over 5k for this semesters room and board. My roommate played the high and mighty card at the meeting (and lied a LOT, brought out the tears), like shes too good for this and blah blah. then again, she and the suite mates planned it! so if anything you;d expect them to be all for it. Whatever, living with girls is just drama; I totally prefer online college. I'm just still positive cause I get to see grant friday!!! Hopefully my room transfer will get approved. sometime. I hope.

Good luck steph :D

Kinda shitty that you cant even sit in the comfort of your own room to skype. not like your calls we private anyway cuz they were always jumping in. uggh, see thats why i couldnt live in a dorm, you have more patience and tolerance than i do. after all the crap youve told me about them doing, i would decked at least one of em in the face already. i have no tolerance for stupid anymore. my tolerance level for stupid was reached and exceeded in high school. good luck hope things get better now.

I have to be in Ocala tomorrow at the call center for testing. I guess to see if im "qualified" for the job and if i can perform it because as part of the testing they put you thru a simulation. But from what i can understand of the job description, you basically have to be able  to tolerate people calling and yelling at you and being able to multitask on a computer with different programs and multiple windows inside the programs all at once. multitasking, no problem, and if im gettin paid to have people aggravate, well i can deal with it :) ill have an update tomorrow hopefully. pray for this, cuz its a heck of a lot better than a paper route

good luck tomorrow steph!!!! I hope you will do awesome(:

As an update on the room situation, we had a mediation session with our RA today, actually helped a lot. laid out a TON of ground rules. I'm not allowed to skype in my room anymore... (gotta go to the social lounge) BUT she cant do homework in here after midnight. or have the lights on. So we're making progress.

PS: seeing my sailor on Friday! YAYYYYYYYY! :D

Well ladies, it has been quiet for a few days. I have a small update. I have started a paper route, lol. its not a great job, but its at least something to get some cash flow in my direction. I figure that i cant sleep and im up most of the night anyway, so i might as well be making some money while im wide awake. i usually go ingot work at 1130 and get home about 5am. I dont really wanna do it, but i am until i can find something better. Speaking of which, i have an interview tomorrow morning at 10am with AT&T to work in their call center. I have a friend who works there and he told me that they are hiring a BUNCH of people in the ocala center. he told me that as long as i dont completely foobar the interview, that im pretty much guaranteed the job :) i will let yall know about that. time to go take a shower now and get ready for work

4mrsdivine:  What is your PIR date????  The highest Division number we had in this graduation group was 933 or 218.  You need to find your PIR date group.  Good luck!
