Those pictures are lovely. I'm so glad for your daughter that she found a guy like that. You can see how much he cares for her. Young love can be one of two things, fragile or strong. Looking like Beth found a strong one. Good thing for her and the baby.

Lovemynavyson - it is wonderful that your family is so close.  That's a lovely photo.

Isn't it amazing how much things can change in just one year?

Where will we all be one year from now?

Wow! congrats to your family - Lovemynavyson!  Your new grandbaby is sooooo luck to be born into your family!  Sounds like the lemonade is sweet at your house.

Paula - hahahha...my Matthew's middle name is James and occassionally my husband would call him that!

Jess - Yea, I think soooooooooo........she was so nervous about telling us - His mom assured her that we wouldn't get as upset and yell like she was thinking...

Yea...baby things........oh, I don't know if I'm ready for all this - Its just going all so so fast! My mom asked me if we were going to plan a baby shower?! I said, please, let's get the wedding out of the way!' I actually have time to think and prepare for the baby shower - A gramma...wow.....my husband is SO excited - He has four grandchildren to a son from HS, but we do not get to see them consistently :(

Oh wow Jess...you are getting married a week after my daughter! Both my daughter and her fiance' wanted marriage and children (soon)...she was always my princess (wanting her prince charming to swoop her up and carry her away living happily every after)...Matthew told her he would actually like to have another baby not long after this one is born! He is an only child and my daughter has three siblings...all very close in age four kids in 3 1/3 years - that was including a miscarriage in between the last two!

The night they got engaged our phones were buzzing off and beeping like crazy as we were talking to the other kids! I was on my phone, my husband on his, and my daughter on hers...near midnigh!!!! Matthew was zoning (later told me he was trying to listen to all the converstation going on) hehehe......Gave me an opportunity to tell him how close my kids were/are (they were BF growing up - ALL of them from my 25 yr. old to my 18 yr.-- they took her everywhere and did evreything together...) Anyway, he commented, 'I see that'...so I told him once he is married to Bethany...He is family and he is in.........

Well............I think I've really rambled enough here today-- Got to call the photographer and order the flowers and then get some school done....sigh.........

Lovemynavyson; Congrats to your daughter(: Also a BIG kudos for not freaking out. I'm sure she greatly appreciated that, and I can tell you, your excitement will mean more to her than you could ever understand. Wedding planning is very fun(: And soon, you get to buy baby things! It's all soo little and cute haha!

Paula, we had been thinking the date once we got engaged. Our two year would be on the 16th, but that is a Sunday and I don't want to be alone and crying my eyes out because he had to leave on my wedding night, so Saturday the 15th seemed like a great option. Grant called the beach ceremony guy and we have a booking for a 1pm service on Isle of Palms Beach (my favorite) in SC on October 15th at 1pm(: (so if anyone is in the area....I'll be in the white dress(: ) We have a 15minute photo session afterward, we get the top 10 edited shots. We are VERY excited(: He's so adorable, every once in awhile he will just get really happy and excited about some little wedding detail, it's cute(: No kids over here though, we both want to wait until he is out of, or close to out of the Navy. (he currently isn't planning on reenlisting) We will see what happens. Definitely not until I am done with school though. The formal wedding will be at the end of January on his A school leave. That date was pretty obvious from the start, it's really our only option haha! I've been taking the train to my dads almost every weekend, there is just so much planning to do! It's fun. I just really wish he could be here to do all this with me.
