Can you post it here?  He's not going to look here is he?

Click on the "film" icon above and browse - it just can't be real big.  If you would rather not, I'll send an invite.

I only have pics without the underskirt so it's not as poofy, and it doesn't show the train, but message me your email and I will send (it's actually about a foot wider than in the picture). Grant knows my facebook info so I don't wanna send it through there

Yes!!! I want to see pix of the dress.  Is that possible?

StephanieC - send me an invite and we can make plans if you have time when you're in the area.  I'll be out of town mid-October for 2 weeks.

Thanksss(: Its a tight bodice with a just ridiculous amount of beading, and a HUGE ivory satin skirt i mean huge. I have like 20 layers of fluffy crap under there plus a slip. It has a super long train too(: It's a princess dress I love it! I will have bruises from wearing it though I'm sure. Takes 2 people to get it on and that skirt weight is murder on the hipbones where the bodice sits! So worth it though. it's my dream dress(:

Wow Jessica!  What fun!  I'm sure the dress is gorgeous on you.  Enjoy this exciting time.

Paula- i get down to Tampa once a month or so. My grampa lives down there, and i get over to Clerwater for the beach. Next time i make a trip down that way i just might take you up on the offer. I'll let you know :)

Jess- I wanna see pics of this dress!!

Hey all(: sooo, I bought my wedding dress this past weekend!!! It's ENORMOUS. I swear it weighs like 30 pounds and has a 15 foot veil(: I'm so excited!

College life is pretty good (besides being soooo broke lol) [but hey in my eyes SC > eating out/shopping.... ever] , wedding planning is super fun. Never imagined I'd be doing both at the same time, but hey; that's the military for ya!

Sailorswifeschu - Glad to hear you got to see your hubby.  I hope you can be together again soon.  I feel so sorry for the State of TX - they have been so parched and scorched.  I hope they get relief soon.

CTmomof3 - Haven't gotten the DVD yet, but I'm not surprised that it is disappointing.  It's a lesson for us to expect the Navy to take care of the Navy and not our Sailors.  Out of all the past 100 years of PIR, ours was probably the most disappointing.  It figures - I never win anything good and I always pick the worst check out line.

StephanieC - I understand you want to have your questions answered and that's fair.  It is good that you have no expectations on getting back together.  In fact, I think you need to think about what is best for Stephanie and hold fast to that.

As for getting in shape, I lost 50 lbs 2 years ago.  It took about 8 months.  It feels SO good.  I've gained some back, but I'm determined not to gain back more than 10 lbs.  I cut out all white stuff (flour, potatoes, sugar, rice - cauliflower is good even though it is white).  I think Suzanne Somers is a nutcase, but she does look fabulous for her age and her "diet method" does work.  It's low carb, but has a twist on Atkins Diet.  You're not supposed to eat fruit within 3 hours of veggies and/or meat.  Keep fruit totally separated by 3 hrs of eating veggies and/or meat.  Somers' books have tons of recipes and meal suggestions.  I think there's a bunch of info online too.  It really worked for me, but I understand everyone is different.  Just thought I'd share.  Oh, and exercise is real important too - I got some exercise cd's & tapes that I liked (Richard Simmons is a hoot, Tae Bo with Billy Banks - short stuff like 30 minutes max a day works good for me).  If you ever get down to the Tampa Bay area (not that far for you), let me know and I'll take you to dinner or lunch (or we can exercise).

Is anyone else disappointed in the DVD? PIR was a huge disappointment so was hoping maybe they made up for it with the dvd but my opinion is nope.  Too bad RTC had to do this to these sailors.

Sailorwife-thats awesome! glad you got to spend the time with him, however short lived it was. I know how you feel about wishing you could just hop in the car and go back. So glad to hear that he is doing well.

Paula- im definitely still considering the nuke thing. But i am going to look into other options. I have to lose like a minimum of 40 lbs to be in the high end of the weight requirements for my height and 60-70 if i wanna be at the lowest end. Im definitely looking forward to mine and kyles talk in October. I will let you know how that goes. And who knows, maybe you're right and it will help me choose the right path. I wont know until the time comes. I just want my questions answered. Im not hoping for anything else, even tho others keep telling me that maybe by then he will have "come to his senses and seeing me will make him realize how much he wants me in his life." I havent yet decided on what im gonna do, whether im going to join or not. But regardless, i think the workouts will start this week. My brother has agreed to be my workout buddy so that will help for sure :)
