I have my car with me so I'm just going to drive in (parking is only like $24 for the day, not bad for out here) , but maybe that will help someone else on the page!

JessicaB:  You can call "Sarge" if you want to see about shuttle service to meet up with your sailors at the airport.  847-212-0246.  Retired military and great to the Navy families. He has a wonderful reputation on this site with the help he has given the Navy families. If you get some others to go with you, it may not cost you guys much at all.  I understand he has very reasonable rates.

There is also www.AirportExpress.com

Im not too worried about askin, ill be living really close to the base either way. So even if he cant live with me, it will be close for visiting. And that may not matter much anyway...hopefully. But i shall see soon enough.

Ok, I have loved this chatter today...it's kind of like a soap opera!  Maybe you could call it:

He was told on one of the weekly nuke calls before he left that they are allowed to live off base after a-school, that it is even encouraged. I dunno, but thats what he said before he left. And yea, i hope i get a ring soon too, that would just make my day. But im not gonna get my hopes up incase it doesnt happen and im reading to much into his letters. But like i said, hes not very subtle and there have been multiple big hints

Comment by StephanieC on June 7, 2011 at 6:46pm

No were not married, but he has been dropping big hints in his letters to me, so i think hes got something up his sleeve. Hes not very subtle at all. But we know that he cant live off base during a-school unless were married. But during power school and prototype they can.

Comment by JessicaB-Sailor's Sweetheart<3 on June 7, 2011 at 6:40pm
Are you married? He can't live with you until you are :\ I'm in college in Chicago, so we have a distance issue.
Comment by StephanieC on June 7, 2011 at 6:36pm

Oh, i already mapquested it, googled it and searched prolly 5 different ways to see how far it was, even before he shipped out for RTC. Luckily for me, i will only have to visit for the first 2-4 weeks. We are planning on me moving up there sometime between July 15-August 1. He wants to wait about 2 weeks or so just to see how much money he has to move me up there. He feels its his responsibility to pay for my move since hes the one pushing so bad for me to get there. I wanna get there to, so i dont think he should have to pay but he told me that me paying is not an option and not to argue, lol

Yeahh, they won't be a fun 6 months, but they do come up for air every so often so I could possibly get a call or email when he is at port. And oh, that explains a lot XD
