I'm bringing his phone (which I still have to call sprint and figure out how to re-activate) a towel, lint brush, camera, a bazillion batteries, water bottle, snacks, cute outfits! , his favorite shower gel and shampoo, his hair gel, maybe binoculars, his boxers, some comfy clothes for when he is just chilling in the hotel, his presents and his headphones. And me!

Of course, she probably can't wear the bras, while in uniform.

katie'smom, this may sound silly, but you might want to include some pretty bras and panties.  When my son was in BC, a lot of female SR's requested those from their moms and the boys were asking for boxers.  They really aren't happy with their tidy whities.  :)

Thanks Mom for some ideas I did NOT have.. (raincoat/umbrella!) .. don't forget a hat since we are going to be outside in July! UGH! I'm also including some homemade baked goods she always requests (her FAV cookies!) and her laptop computer to update her Facebook on! HA!

We continue to be blessed... In laws called last night. Said their 'gift' to us and daughter for her graduation is paying for the rental car to get there and back.  Granted our car (my beloved black PT Cruiser) is in good shape, they insisted we get a rental for the 1900 +/- round trip! So, today I go reserve the rental car... the hotel is already reserved.  My 'to do lists' and 'dont forget' lists have been started...(have I mentioned I'm an organizational FREAK!)..the countdown is on to see our children graduate boot camp.  I can't wait to see my kid in her uniform!

Esther, my daughter didn't get to call when the rest of her Div called because she was sick but they allowed her to make the call 2 days later.
Angie, I don't care if you can pass information to her or vice versa it is just comforting to know that your command has eyes on my daughter's division! Thank you so much.

diannep ~ My daughter is having twin girls, Emma Marie and Lilly Ann are their names. I can't believe my two children are having such momentous occasions one day apart!  But both of them will be having the most important day of their lives back-to-back! It will pretty cool, but a real whirlwind too! Thanks for asking!

Hopefully they will call tomorrow. I don't think Maria got hers yet either.

Yeah... she's out.  She actually prayed before bed that she wouldn't fall asleep until daddy called. I promised I would wake her up if he called, but no call.  Does anyone know what happens if everyone in a division didn't get to make a call, will they let them the next day???

I got my a phone call tonight...YAY!!  My daughter was crying practically the whole time.  But she really has changed her attitude from the 1st week.  She is enjoying it so much more and can't believe that she is 1/2 way through it.  I stayed strong and didn't cry!  I broke down later.  So great to hear her voice.  Gives you some relief but now I miss her even more.  She is soooo grown up!!  I hope you all get calls soooon!!  There division is a little chatty and got in trouble so their talk time got cut from 60 minutes to 50.

Maria...my daughter and your daughter are great friends!  She says your daughter is awesome!  She was going to talk to me about sending labels...I told her that I already did...she loved that idea.
