Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

If I use my iPad I have a hard time proofing my posts but if I use my laptop then I am unable to post so I have decided to put a disclaimer here! I suck @ posting, hopefully you all can get the jest of my posts with all the spelling and grammar errors :). Now I am off to the gym so I can keep my muscles moving so I won't have to park or sit in the handicap area, wishful thinking. Get those letters in the mail, we are halfway through! Praise the Lord!

Comment by ConnieC on May 31, 2011 at 6:56am: Sharon, if you got to the RTC official website you can get the correct mailing address, they are listed by Ship/Div. The packet is attached to the form letter, your SR's Father has it if your SR sent the form letter to him.

Concerning Angie, she is being very modest. Someone who does what she does in the Navy is always mentoring and developing Sailor's. She might not be directly impacting our Sailors today but there is a big chance that she has mentored someone who will in turn be mentoring ours. It is the trickle effect. Plus she is a Chief and in that job description #1 duty: Mentoring and Developing Sailor's and Junior Officer's!. So Angie you are awesome and you ROCK! Lol. I know I am thankful for you being on this website. You have been a straight shooter and always giving out correct info. So Thank You! Now get to work! Lol

I wouldn't even know there was supposed to be a Packet except for N4M's. Thanks for all your info!!!
