Pam T, you understand correctly and I'm sure that the hotels do not know of the time change but DO know of the 100th celebration.  Week after week for years things have been the same most of the time  Maybe RTC should contact the hotels in the area...they know the ones. that most people use and inform them of the change in time......Angie what's your opinion???. From my experience in the past the hotels try to be accommodating but this is huge.

Ok I got a question and perhaps it's more I'm confused and misunderstood something (which is not usual since I'm getting OLD haha).. The July 1st PIR is the anniversary of the Naval station so there is alot of special celebration going on.  My packet I received said gates open at 4:30 am and that is not the 'norm' for the times for most of the other PIR's... just this one since it's special celebrations.  In making reservations at hotels that offer the shuttle service, we are asking if they are changing the times for their shuttle to accomodate for the earlier time.. and all of them act 'clueless'...Do these hotels not know the info that this is the 100th celebration and times will be different, or am I not understanding things correctly?

I write sappy love letters. He says they are his favorite to get because he needs to remember why he is doing this haha. I tell him about things going on, what I did today, the dogs, and then just how much I love him. I write a full page every day, but have started doing two cause he asked for more.
