Oh it is fine, I didn't think you were arguing Angie, maybe you didn't know about it at the time. It wasn't after PIR it was during the 4th of July parade and PIR wasn't until July 23rd. I don't think they have an all flag corp div very often either. There were two performing DIV's 935 and 936 and my sailor was in 936 and wasn't happy that they didn't get to go perform too lol. It is a HUGE deal to get off that base for a little while I am sure. :-)

oh no, I'm not thinking after PIR, he had mentioned sometimes they go for local events during training. However, memorial day was my only hope and seeing as I haven't heard anything, I don't think it will happen. Ah well.

I asked my boyfriend to send any details he gets, so hopefully he will if they end up preforming. I would DEFINITELY go! I miss him so much, at least we are almost halfway. I will let you know if I get any details.

hummmmm, I know positively that DIV 935 last year in July, which was all flag corp got to go to The Navy Pier and perform at some kind of ceremony, and they had some very happy parents when complete strangers let them use their cell phones to call their moms lol.

Don't know if this is going to work but if it does, this is very cool. I printed it out and sent it to my SR. Let me know if you can view it, I hope you can!

Oh no stickers and stuff... just in a 5x7 size envelope... I found out yesterday in our call.. she is getting cards/letters from a lot of people from  our church and from her college friends too.. I had to laugh.  I sent her a book of stamps recently, thinking she NEEDED it... found out 3 other 'grandmas' sent her books too!!! Geesh!
