I'm glad I got it to work too.  I kept trying and kept trying and kept trying.  I'm like that I guess.  It was driving me nuts.  Now I can get back to monitoring this site more.  Hope no one's asked anything else of me while I've been checked out.  If so, you'd better try me again.  Ready for a new challenge ... ok, maybe not. :)

CTmomof3 - I have not seen anything new about PIR.  We're still waiting for more direction on where, which gate and handicap info.

Pamroy - be careful to send the stuff you send in plain letter size envelopes - I hear they get picked on if they get a package.  Anything bulky or with stickers/drawings on the outside will draw the (undesired) attention of the RDC and then the whole Division suffers.  Besides, I think it is more fun for them if they get a ton of separate envelopes.  More expensive that way, but their name gets called more often :->

Argggg - where be them varmit mutants???

I can't stop laughing.  I was muggling around on the site here.. found a set of questionairs to send to your SR.... I HAD to print them out to send to my SR.. They are too cute and I know my daughter will have fun filling them out.  I had actually gotten a few greeting cards this morning at Walmart to send to her from mom/dad and one from her brother.  I let my son pick out a questionaire to send to her and he picked the one about how the food is (HA too funny!) Then I packed the other 2 in the big envelope we packed with the cards, photos, etc in it.  Hope all has a wonderful Memorial day.  I whole heartedly agree that THIS Memorial Day is so much different then it ever has been, knowing MY CHILD is one of the ones we pay homage to, saluting them for taking care of our FREEDOM!!! Keeping all our kids in prayers!

Have I missed anything on the PIR subject. Do we know yet where it will be and what gate to use?
Comment by Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons on May 27, 2011 at 3:53pm

surf- why doesn't he have wisdom teeth? My Sailor had 2 pulled at bootcamp but she did fine with it.

JessicaB- I don't know if there is a way to find out unless your SR lets you know or maybe you could google the local events, like games and parades and ceremonies to see who will be at those.

Comment by Paula (was Capricorna) on May 27, 2011 at 2:38pm
I was worried about that too.  My SR wrote that he has 2 impacted wisdom teeth, but they'll take them out in A School.  He added that he had no cavities!  :->
