Hi Katie'smom, Yikes!  I hope not too.  My son is currently on hold to train for CTT (while waiting for his security clearance to be final) and loves it in Pensacola.  What rate is your SR?

HEY, BETSY!  So glad to see you back on here!  Betsy is a great veteran mom, ladies...she was creator of her PIR group and very vigilante.  So glad she is here to catch some of the questions now -- a big help to Lala and me.

Hello ladies, I'm Betsy and the proud mom of a sailor awaiting A school training in Pensacola.  I have been MIA for a little while, due to a move across the country, but I'm back now and will be checking in on here, like our other wonderful veteran moms, to offer hugs, high 5's and support during your boot camp experience.  I can't wait to get to know all of you.

I hope so too, JessicaB!

HAAAA, Lala....so you and I had clock problems on the same day...strange, ha?  I actually have 2 clocks in my bedroom...had I bothered to look at either of them, I would have gone back to sleep...well, maybe....but who KNEW that the news came on at least by 4:30 a.m.and it is the same people who are on at 5:30?  All seemed so NORMAL...sigh....I did take my 15 minute catnap about 2 hours later, which turned into 25 minutes--and I almost missed my gym class....ARGHHH....hoping I have my act together now.  Connie, glad we share the same life experiences!  Keeps us laughing!

Diannep: Oh man, I have my fingers crossed for order changes now! I just need a little good luck(: My SR is devastated he has to leave so soon, but hey, if it happens sometimes... maybe I will get my lucky day that weekend!

Craig, no problem, I enjoyed the video. My darling Angel is going to be a Quarter Master. She only followed in my footsteps for a short ways. Lol. So glad she didn't consider the Marine Corps like her Father!

I know that some are taken back and even have ill thoughts of Ollie, but I will tell you that he loves the men and women of the armed forces! Ooh Rah Col. North.
Comment by Craig on May 25, 2011 at 10:10am

Sorry about that....

Craig my daughter isn't going to be an HM, my retirement papers say that I retired as an HMC, but all my rating patches were DTC. I retired in Mar 06 and everyone had to be converted to HM by Oct.
