Here's the number for Anastasias, lisarobin:
847-688-1317
3880 Northpoint Blvd
Waukegan
lisarobin> They will want an approximate count and, yes, I would call them this week. Do you need the number? Just google "Anastasias" in Waukegan. Let me know if you can't find it. I can help look!
Ladies let lisarobin know if you might want to join the PIR group for dinner after the MeetNGreet. Everyone pays for their own...you just get a section of the restaurant to visit in.
And I can say that I now have my bag packed, minus makeup shoes sandles and flip flops.. lol I cant wait much longer glad its only 5 more days...
I was also very surprised how many people don't know about N4M's and am grateful that my son's recruiter told him...he checked it out and then because I am so dumb with computers he put the site in my favorites for me. Is there some way that N4M's can do an outreach to all recruiters nationwide? I met a few couples at meet & greet that said they knew but didn't join. One said she had been reading everything but never became a member. This group has 10 divisions, times approx. 88 per division, equals 880 recruits with mom's, girlfriends, fiances, etc. Where are they? There are only 97 members here. There is also Navy Dads so maybe there are some families using that. Sure hope so, there is so much for us to learn. Have you found groups to join for A school and rate? This was the hardest time without communication with our SR's but we may need support during A school and especially durling deployments
What many ladies do after the MeetNGreet is go out to dinner together. Either at the Ramada or there is a restaurant nearby called Anastasias which in the past, has been very gracious about setting part of their restaurant aside for a few N4Moms groups. So keep that option in mind!
If someone is savy on the computer, you may want to print up some business cards with www.navyformoms.com info on them. Because as BoosMom said....so many don't know about this site. But it is never too late! So pass them out!
Hey, good to see you on here, VETERAN BoosMom!
I agree we would have been totally lost without this website. I am very thankful to my Sailor's recruiter for telling me about this site. It helped me so much. I wish more loved ones knew about it.
It should make it interesting to try and find one another at the meet and greet. See you soon 4 more days
I think I was so addicted to the countdown any chance it will come back?
