Probably right...maybe he meant in the running for being selected an honor recruit.

Hi everyone!! I have a quick question that I've asked on Facebook. Did anyone to to MEPS and take pictures of their SRs that might have other SRs in them? I wasn't able to go and I'm disappointed I don't have any "first" pictures. My SR left from Indianapolis. Please let me know if you have any group shots =) Thank you!!

That is so great, Txtwins.  There have actually been other sets of twins in previous groups at bootcamp...I think that is so neat!  I noticed that they not only didn't put yours together, but not even in brother divisions!  So they really won't see each other, most likely, until PIR.  So great that they have that "extra sense" about one another.  Fascinating to me...

Did they go in with the same job rate?  Boy, your eyes will be all over that drill hall trying to keep up with two of them at PIR!  You will be doubley proud!  HOOYAH~

Txtwins-that is cool you have twins there.  My son 23 yrs old PIR 5/20/11 and my 20 yr old daughter PIR 9/01/11.  I wish they could have been there togather but no luck. y son was still at Great Lakes after PIR and seen her at the pool but couldnt get her attention.

There's at least 3 of us in our division that are trying to win that pic Mapes.  I just need my SR's fantastic memory and fast fingers to win this thing.  Oh wait, the Navy has him now...

Does anyone have a son or daughter who left from Tampa on July 6?  I have a picture of the group right before they got on the plane that I'd like to send to you.  My son is in Ship 11, Div 281 and I think he said a couple that left with him are in his division.
