I have a SAILOR now! He is so tired! They have been up for over 30hrs and are worn out. He leaves out at 12:30am Saturday :( and leaves from Midway at about 6:30am. Im thinking we may (if able) cancel our hotel at the sleep inn Friday night if thats the case and get one close to Midway. We plan on staying downtown Chicago for the weekend so Im thinking that would make sense???  Instead of going back and forth. ugh confused now at the last minute. Any suggestions???

Wooohooooo, I have a sailor too!!!! Questioning, our SRs were in the same group and they got a perfect score!!! He told me he got emotional when they changed caps from recruit to Navy. Got more names but none sounded familiar here. Best phone call ever!!!

He called! I just got off the phone and it's 4:12 here. He was very tired and said they had been up since 5:00am yesterday. He said Battle Stations was "fun" and easier than he thought it would be. He also said the gas chamber thing was fun too. Wierd. He is staying at Great Lakes for A school and so is his bunk mate from Indiana. They sound as if they have become pretty good friends, his initials are N.F., so if your his mom, Hi!

Congrats to the moms getting their calls today! When my son called last week it was 5:00 Michigan time and 4:00 Great lakes time.. So phones should be ringing soon for you! Also he got to talk for an hour!

k these were the llast 3 div left. I would think all 3 would have last night cuz if anyone didn't make it, they would rest tonight and go through again tomorrow, last chance. Sound reasonable?
I got a txt from a mom on fb saying 943 was calling...
Comment by Haup9 on September 5, 2012 at 4:49pm

Sorry ladies, I should have thought to ask my son if 287 & 288 went through with battlestations with him. I really hope they did and that you all get your calls. I know how hard it is to wait!!!!
