WELCOME TO PIR 09/21/2012

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Good Morning everyone. School starts today, I am subbing/teaching 4th grade for a month. I just found out on Wednesday so I have had 3 days to prepare. I am freaking out a little so wish me luck and maybe even say a little prayer. I can use all the help I can get lol. I will be back on here this afternoon. Have a wonderful day.

You can try and hold seats for them, you are sitting on bleachers so spread out a little :). It can get difficult if the TG is large, but it doesn't look like there will be much problem here.

One you are in the drill hall you will see chairs sitting in front of the bleachers with division numbers on them. You sit by section so those coming in late don't have to look for you all over the drill hall (it is large).

Ellen0502 - if we have extra guests and they get in, do they have to sit wherever there are seats left or can we hold seats for them?

Not too much for discussions this evening. I've been exploring N4M's tonight and reading lots in the forum area's.  Hope to hear from my son this week. He's really not much of a writer, so it will be interesting IF I even get one.  I wouldn't mind a quick hello, to say he's OK, kinda note.  We shall see... So where are all of you from? I'm in Connecticut. We have the Groton Sub base right here in my back yard. Zach was going to do Subs but he opted for a different job. I'm not 100% sure of what that job is yet. He really didn't get into much depth about the path he chose, but I think it's going to be on a carrier. Anyway, I wanted to say HEY to you all, and I'm hoping like you all for our first letters....

We are Mom's, girlfiends, etc....sometimes we say things about he drama in our life that makes things tough. I know my son worships his Dad, my ex, which does not diminish the love I have in my heart for our son. Wonder why God puts us through such times where the Mother feels like the outsider and the stepmother relishes her position. Do they not realize the SR is the one suffering? That if their hearts opened to understand the more who love a child the better? Just tired of so much pressure put on all my children, especially my SR, to choose between one parent and another when they could have 4 loving "parents". So glad it looks like there are few enough divisons with PIR of 9/21 we will get in without passes. Shuffled to the background, but one day my son will know I have always been there, unconditionally. Thanks for the venting time!
