~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Hi Friends!
"But You are a shield around me, O Lord;
You bestow glory on me and lift up my head."
Psalm 3:3
No, Suzbee: Sarge is retired Army (20 yrs), been in the area for 30 yrs or so. He has a shuttle service too for those not renting cars. He does get the MeetandGreet food from some local restaurants....and he/wife make some of it for you. He is a huge help to the sailors at GL A School as far as transportation around town and to/from airports. He loves the sailors!
Oh My Gosh! Jessica! Where have you been????? So so glad to see you on here!
Suzbee: Here is the link to Sarge's MeetandGreet for your group:

Sarge and his wife put this on each week for the PIR group graduating---out of their own pocket. There are 3 MeetandGreets, but his has the most people who attend...he has the most info to provide you and the food is good! The other MeetandGreets are at the Ramada and Flanagans.
It is wonderful that you tuck in an extra letter when writing your SR to give to one not receiving mail. Don't be surprised if you get letters back from these SRs! I did....and it is so much fun to get to know them. They are so very appreciative of those ladies doing this....so sad that so many have no one writing to them.
Some of you may want to ask your SRs for names of ones who aren't receiving mail...then....post on here that you have some names and let others friend request/message you privately for the names (no SRs' last names are allowed to be posted on N4Moms). It will make your heart feel good to know you have put a smile on a SR's face when their name is called at Mail Call!
Suzbee the meet and Greet for your PIR hasn't been set up yet but here is a link where you can read about it for this weeks PIR. Should have all the same info that yours will have just different dates http://www.navyformoms.com/events/pir-08-09-2013-sarge-s-meet-and-g...
Bird Mom: Hmmmm.....we N4Moms veterans haven't heard much about the Motel 6 up there....but that doesn't mean anything!
