Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by Dad of Sailor on September 22, 2012 at 10:39am: diannep; I wasn't the one who said the delay was because of the hurricane as my son said he heard about a delay but didn't know why. I have no idea what the delay is from. I'm just assuming hurricane Isaac was the one they were talking about in the earlier post. Yeah I can imagine those of you living in South Florida keep a pretty close track on all hurricanes.

All-Male Division winner

Integrated Division (male/female) winner

Motivational Chant winner*

*Motivational winner can actually be the same as the All-Male or Integrated winner or a 3rd division

Get out of the house and as hard as I know it is walk away from the computer. You need vitamin D :-) As for me, we are having another huge Sale today, definitely not fun but it will help me make the money I need to go see my Sailor this coming weekend :-) YAY, I am super excited!!! If you live in western NC come see me at my sale and come buy something lol.
