Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

It's been 21 days since I've heard that sweet boys voice & I'd even be so happy to hear a smart eleck teenage remark at this point in time!!!! I read comments every day but I don't post alot, we have alot of family backing but all of you guys are starting to feel like an extension of that family!! Thanks for always being there!!

I was so excited, it didn't seem like enough time to ask him all the things I've been wanting to and then have him tell us everything he has been wanting to share also. Side note: can anyone tell me about the callsforrecruits calling cards? Do they actually send cards you send on or just a number with a PIN? I was on that site and couldnt figure it out. Thanks for a reply in advance.

I'd like to think no call is a good thing but maybe they are doing bad and their getting punished? (Chuckle) I really dislike the not knowing. I'll continue to pray for (my) patience.
