Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

A quick note here: Last Names of Recruits/Sailors are not allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

NEW TO THE GROUP! MY DAUGHTER IS SHIP 12 DIV 308 WITH A PIR 9/28/12

I RECIEVED A SUPRISE PHONE CALL 1 1/2 WKS AGO(SHE NEED INFO FOR HER CLEARENCE) SHE SOUNDED GOOD. SO GLAD THEY CAN NOW WRITE! SHE WILL BE GOING TO DAM NECK IS A AND C SCHOOLS.

I pray for our children or loved ones daily and the RDC's that are in charge.
It's hard to believe soon we will be half-way to the end of our first adventure.

I even kept my phone on all through church this morning, as did my husband. During prayer he got a call from a number neither if us recognized, so we hurried out of the sanctuary...for a telemarketer. Grrr... This gives me comfort: as I am lifting up you, my child, and your children in my prayers, many of you are doing the same for me and my son.
