Saw comment by ranaeaw... made me happy!  2 weeks down, 6 to go!  Woot-woot!

CeliaB No problem with bright colors, I would just recommend that any envelope you send to your SR, not be "fat", odd shaped, squishy.

If it looks like a letter and feels like a letter it must be a letter. If it looks like  letter and feels like Q-Tips it probably is, and may need to be opened in front of the RDC.

I like that countdown above here.     At times it seems like time is so slow and yet when I think to look at the countdown, it is 6 weeks away, not 8 like it was in the beginning.   My daughter has been gone for 2 weeks and a day.

I have 3 girls ages 6-12. They love to draw and make things brightly colored. Will this be a problem when they send him a letter? I know no bright colored enevelopes, just wondering about it actually in the letter?

Your Meet and Greet link is now at the top of this Main Page of the PIR group...next to the Group Picture of the American Eagle and Flag.

Just click the link under the spinning smileys and it will take you to a Page with a brief description of each Meet and Greet and links to their Event Page on here. You may RSVP on their respective Event Page. It is not required that you do so...but nice to give them a "heads up" as far as those attending from this site.

The M & G are for all of the Families and Friends attending PIR...so there will be many there that may not know about N4M's as well. They are all Family friendly and take place on the night before PIR.

Ooo...why does the grocery store evoke so much emotion!!

For me...it was Flamin' Hot Cheetos. LOL He actually left an opened bag of them when he left for BC.

I didn't throw them away until he came home from "A" school...

My sons letter had cross outs on it for mistakes...written in pen...after about the third one he wrote, "Man, I hate writing in pen..."

I only got one letter and my Questionnaire back from him...found out just the other day though that he had written, but thrown them away. I think this is why...the one letter started out, "Now, that I have something good to write...". I treasure that letter!
