RTC has posted pictures of PIR on their facebook page
Had an awesome time this weekend with my son, who is now a U.S. Navy Sailor! The whole experience was so well done; I cried from the time they opened the large door and they came marching in. I am so proud of my son and all the Sailors who graduated on 10/5. May God protect them all and keep them safe!!
What a fabulous weekend. PIR was the most moving experience, the tears were flowing. My son was an award winner and we were escorted around like royalty lol. I am so proud of him! I cannot thank all the people on N4M enough. I was sad and sometimes felt lost during BC, but all of you helped me through it. My son is SWCC so I have joined that group so I can also stay informed as well as have support as he moves onto the next phase in the Navy.
I took the order form to the office today, and never got a chance to call them. Will do in the morning, but I can also scan and email it to you so you can see the choices if you want more pix etc.... I will get the dvd. mine wasn't sure if I wanted it so he didnt' order it, then said he'd like to see the guns and flags since they couldnt see it from 324. only hear it!
Thanks for the info. I didn't notice an order form in with the photos. I will have to take another look.
a form that was included with the photo packs had order blank for the DVD with price of $29. I do not have the order blank.
Janie: Glad to know the PIR DVD is still $29. One mom told me it is now $39 which seemed like a big increase in price!
the full show of the PIR program is on the $29 DVD they offer for sale. The pix taken from the review stand angle are used to make the video as I understand it. Since we saw the PIR and our Sailor is not particularly interested in seeing the other parts of it we did not order the DVD. They had the whole program in rehearsal the day before, but did not see all the flags and rifles parts.
Debbie: Sometimes RTC FB will post pictures on their page from PIR.
Had a great time with my sailor on friday, however it wasn't long enough! Was leaving for Midway airport at 3:30 am for Pensacola & flying out at 2pm on Saturday. The ceremony was very moving, many tears were flowing. Does anyone know if the professional pictures that were being taken are posted anywhere? Would love to see them if possible.
