You really only need one pass. You may be driving onto the base more than one time. Besides PIR you will drive onto the base when dropping your sailor off each night and when picking him/her up each morning. It all depends on how much time you get with them. One pass works for every time you go on base. I think most people print more than one pass just in case one fly's out the window or something. Always good to have an extra copy. :) or 5 lol

Cindy, get yourself a bright folder, mine is bright blue, and put everything in it. I have read throught it just about every day for the last 2 weeks trying to burn the contents into my brain. Every time I get something accomplished, I mark it off. Yesterday I marked off haircut and nails. I also put in my gate passes (5) and anything else I can think of. I will go through and clean it out on Wednesday next week and only take what I will need with me. It works for me.

Thank you Lala looking forward to getting mine... I sent you something yesterday.. :).... Ive been looking at new phone for my SR just wish he could call me or that he answered my questions concerning it in letter ... his charger broke the night before he shipped at the MEPS hotel... so its like dead going to see if i can at least find a universal charger for it.... and just in case he can keep it he will have that one.. he wanted and needed a new phone. but too many choices...lol

Im hesitant to tell his gf that she should stop writing every day... that is like her link to him that keeps her going...lol... but maybe ill suggest that she can give them to him in person... gosh i hope i dont forget something ... my mind is like so occupied...lol

Good Morning everyone- there will be lots of ribbons arriving in the next 2 to 3 days. The last of them are being mailed today and depending on how far you are from NC you will have them very soon. If you want ribbons and have not ordered please let me know asap. Time is running out. Which is a good theing that means it is almost time for PIR :)

I'm assuming that we use our SR's new SHIP # on the parking passes. What do you all think?

Here's hoping everyone has a good day, prayers to our SR's and cross your fingers for some phone calls !!! Time to head for work.

Brandon'sGirl: Don't forget, if he is GradNGo, you can go to the airport to meet up with him, and visit with him as he waits for his flight. That is, unless he is on a charter. Then no visits, unfortunately,

sailor girl: It is always hard to guess when the mail will get delivered, but, yes, I would send out this morning.

sarawithanh: I would be very careful how "big" this package is. He will be made to open it in front of the RDC's. Of course, if he has to open it, and they are just a series of letters, probably ok. I think it would be better to mail all of the letters separately....today....with the date to open up each one in your return address area.

Good morning all! Hope everyone has a great day! Prayers going out to our SRs and the RDC's training them! Also remember to pray for those on our prayer list! Be careful out there TiffsMom! I hate to drive in Houston when it is dry much less slippery!
