DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Hang in there, Felicia: I know being in limbo like this is no fun! Lots of prayers that she is moving along in training and that you will have info soon....keep us posted.
Sigh is right diannep! We still have no word. I gave the people in my SR's old DIV her info in case they have time to ask if they know anything. People are being very helpful. I'll be trying POA again tomorrow and her recruiter...as a last resort.
Good Morning!
If you haven't had a chance to check out my "Pertinent PIR Tips", now would be a good time~~
Ladies,
mommakay (Ship 11/Div 384) started a BASKETS FOR SARGE'S MEET & GREET up above in the Discussions Forum!! Your group does have time to gather some stuff for this. Anyone who wants to participate, please pop in and let mommakay know~~ Thanks in advance!
Felicia: I just heard that another SR who had not passed his swim test passed his PT today and will be doing the BS21 with another division and still in the same PIR. He called his family today, so hopefully your SR will be calling you this weekend with the same news.
Hello Friends!
"Lord, You establish peace for us;
all that we have accomplished
You have done for us."
Isaiah 26:12
Good Morning! Captains Cup going on now! A nice "release" for all of the SRs/sailors!
Felicia: Sigh....I have a suggestion. In your discussion group above, private message those ladies and give them your SR's last name. Ask if they can ask their SRs/sailors if they know your daughter and if she is still with them. I know that RTC says that when a SR tells you they will not graduate, you are not to come unless you get called again by your new sailor. But still......frustrating, I know!
Show up with your 9 yr old! They are still showing 4 on the RTC site. Don't believe the number has changed. There are 12 divisions in this PIR group, and 12 means 4 guests...according to the RTC. I would tell you to check with Public Affairs but I'm hearing from others that you can never get through (probably from govt shutdown). I really don't think you will have a problem. Not quite sure why some divisions are told that they can only have 3 now, not 4, which has happened in previous groups (being told that...), but never proved to be true.
