Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

N4M's Community Guidelines and OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Is there anyone besides me that is an absolute emotional basket case today? I am one step short of a crying jag and can't concentrate. This is the first time I have been like this and daggum it, we're almost finished. Feeling irritated with myself >:(

Munchinmom good morning
So I think r sr r in the same ship and division 13 385!
I only got one phone call 4 min long! So I really don't know how things r going! I heard that their div was on the verge of getting held back a week!
Is the division doing better and did they get a flag!
It so hard not knowing how my sr is doing. And knowing he is having it hard and not talking to him. I just wonder y he is the only that doesn't get to make a call more often. This will help him.
This is the first time we have ever been apart for so long. It was always we did everything as a family!or friends

To me it  seems like the days are really starting to speed up.  I have heard this might happen,  I have been watching the videos on nfm for boot camp 1&2.  There is a cnn report that was done on battlestations.  It comforts me to know that our sr's are being well taken care of.  I knew my daughter was a smart young woman,  It is awesome by her letters to see the change in her.  She makes her mama proud.  Only 3 more Fridays to cross off the list.  Stay strong mama's we can do this.

hi Edie, In the search engine for nfm type in Boot Camp Questionnaire, you can just print it out and send it with a pre addressed envelope that they can send back to you with their answers.  I can't remember where to find the other questions, so if someone can help that would be awesome.  I sent my daughter one about food.
