~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

I read ellen0502 comments and realized she was so right! We are all part of the larger group waiting for our Sailor to report to the Fleet. It's just so much to keep track of!
Don't leave this group stay here too. Let other know what and where and how your sailor is doing. Some of you may have sailors that end up at the same school with different ratings, and some may end up in the fleet together! Keep in touch ladies and gentlemen. :)
Leaving this group now for focus on NNPTC with my Nuke.
Thank you everyone so much for your support!
Any other Nukes from PIR 2013-10-18 (Ship 12 Div 398) please connect.
Leaving this group now. Congrats to your new sailors and blessings to all of them in their Navy futures! :-)
Well, Wyatt graduated and is now in Florida. The service was beautiful and so impressive. I went to Sarge's Meet & Greet and that was very informative. I loved the Navy Lodge. The rooms were great and the staff was excellent. I meet some of the Moms from this sight and they were all very nice and their families were great as well. I cannot tell you how much this sight helped me through this process. I am so thankful to all the Moms on here and the women who give us all information. Thank you for helping me and for making this experience one of the best days of my life and my families life. Hooyah and Hip Hip Hooray for Navyformoms!!!
HDShortysMama,
This info is on the Boot Camp Moms' Pages section under Divisional Shirts: the shirts will be available for sale starting the Monday after PIR and until 1 year after the PIR date.
I was also wondering, how long does the divisional shirts stay up for sale on the American Outfitters site?
