~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

hi is is better to stay at navy lodge on or off the base -as far as getting around-keep hearing to use shuttles-do they both have a shuttle?
Good morning everyone, I am back home now, left VA Beach early yesterday. My computer is still not fixed. My IT son-in-law thought he fixed it but no :( I guess I will have to download all my pics and important documents and then take it somewhere and leave it to be fixed. Dreading that, I know I will have Navy for Moms and facebook withdrawals lol. There is something to smile about though.... My Sailor/daughter is a member of a facebook group called Gorgeous Active Duty Females. They had a contest and the top 9 winners will go to a photo shoot and be in a 2015 Calendar. All the proceeds from the calendar will go to make care packages for our troops and my Sailor will be featured in the calendar. She came in 3rd place with 511 votes :) Thanks so much if you voted for her. We really appreciate it :) Here is my Sailor and grand baby :)
Here is the official word from the Public Affairs Office regarding extra guests allowed onto RTC to watch the livestream of the PIR service in the Chapel:
Ma'am,
We would like extra guests to stay off base to watch the PIR live streamed. If a guest absolutely needs to be on base and is not on the guest list they will go to the Chapel.
Respectfully,

Good Morning All !
navy mom 2013,
The only way you will know if your SR will have his wisdom teeth pulled is if your SR tells you on a phone call or a letter. My Sailor daughter let us know in a letter after they were pulled. She missed the last call she was allowed to have with us before Battlestations because of it, but I knew they were having the last calls that week because the rest of her PIR group moms had posted their SRs letting them know about that. Soooo thankful for Navy for Moms!!! <3
at bc.
how do I know if my son got his wisdom teeth pull out...
I will ask about that on the 09/13 group, but have not heard that this was allowed (unless it is something new?).
diannep,
Iansmom said yesterday that she heard family members could watch the Live Stream in the Chapel and was wondering if it was true or not.
You responded to her true...then no one not on access list not allowed on base...
Hello,
"May Your unfailing love be my comfort,
according to Your promise to your servant."
Psalm 119:76
