Hello my Navy Family.
I just wanted to say a Quick THANK YOU to everyone here …to all the Veterans here You guys are AMAZING…I don't know what I would've done without all of your knowledge. To all of the moms, sisters, fiances, wives, even dads here …thank you for helping me cope thru these last several weeks - you all have made it easier for me just knowing we were all in it together.
Packing my car the minute I get home…ROAD TRIP…I cant wait! I'm super excited!!! HAPPY DANCE!!!!
Just waiting to hear from him…Is it just me ?...or is the clock moving super slow today ??? :(
Just for grins and giggles, go back to our first page. (We've created 131 of them!)
It is full of "when do they graduate" and "what is this box everyone's talking about". This time has been bearable because of all of us working together, supporting each other, and sharing our information. With the guidance of the "Vet Moms" we've really been a sort of family. How I only wish this would be an example of more aspects of our lives. Imagine what could be accomplished if every committee and team with which we were involved worked like this!
I say to forget congress - put Navy Moms in charge of the country!!! :)
Brittany-I don't know if mine is knots or butterflies?? I am sooo excited
I'm a Sailor calls from 005/006/901 may start in just about 3 hours! Phones handy!
Congrats to all the new Sailors and to all of you. Just think 7 weeks ago you did not think you would survive this but you did :) Have a wonderful time at PIR and travel safely. I am very happy to have met you and look forward to hearing about your Sailors in the future.
Well ladies, the time is almost here. I just want to thank everyone on this site, that has helped me through these last 8 weeks. At the beginning I didnt know how I was going to make it. Now the nervous feeling I have this morning is seeing my new and improved SR. You always know you love your children unconditionally, but when you don't see them for 8 weeks, the love is even stronger. Again, this site and your advice has helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life. Thanks again. Have a great day and hopefully I get to meet alot of you this weekend. GO NAVY!!!!
The weather could not be more perfect for this time of year. Very light winds, sunny, and a perfect high temperature of 48 on Friday is ideal for a Chicago November Day. Welcome everyone to our beautiful city-Congrats to all the grads and I truly hope you enjoy your time here with your sailor and our beautiful city(s).
