FTLW - thank you for that. I'll figure this out yet lol
heatherT - I hope my son feels this way this week. I just got a letter from him today and he sounds so discouraged. I believe it might be a lack of sleep and he said his div is not working together well which is making the rest of them pay. I had received a letter yesterday as well and it was about 11 days old and he was happier in the letter dated oct 13 but the one dated oct 21 had a very discouraged tone to it. Hopefully they are pulling together.
Erika314 - If he said he is on Fridays as his Day 1 then that is correct, tomorrow would be his Week 5 Day 1.
Unless he told you this very early on...IOW before the Federal Holiday we had on October 8th. This would push all of the Divisions ahead one day making his new Day 1 Mondays. :-)
It's fun (?!) to try and figure ou LOLt...but the GREAT news is they will ALL be done on 11/16!
UPDATE on EXTRA GUESTS for PIR
While Extra guests were never a guarantee...RTC had information in place that allowed for the possibility of additional guests entering PIR. Because of this information we have always seen extra guests make it into PIR when there was seating available.
Sadly, yes, this has now changed.
I have made a Forum Discussion for the N 4M's site that shows the old info and the new info. Here is the direct link showing the chanegs:
EXTRA GUESTS - Will NO LONGER BE ALLOWED into the GRADUATION (PIR) ...
Oh and yes...Week 4 is Hell Week.
Here's a post I did on the "counting.of days" at BC.
Boot Camp Days ~ How to Count them...
Boot Camp is anywhere from 7.5 to 9 weeks (longer around Holiday time in Nov to Jan), actual weeks of time there. This is all generic and based on an "ideal" scenario of 8 weeks.
Jojo - If October 13 was Week 2 Day 4...This is a Saturday and does not count towards the counting of BC Days. Satuirdays and Sundays (also Federal Holidays) would be a "hold day" so FRIDAY the 12th would have been Week 2 Day So today should be:
Oct 25 - Week 4 Day 3.
I will post some information on Counting BC days next :-) Just as an FYI :-)
Good morning ladies...
So I was trying to figure out the P days on the NavyDep site...
I love the breakdown only I'm not sure I know how to read it.
For example. On one of the Questionaires my SR sent ack he answered on "Today's date" as October 13 ...the the question BC day? his answer was " 2-4 " ??
That means Week 2 day 4?? I'm so confused ..lol
You know what ...we are pretty much all in the same weeks or days...can someone tell where about we are on BC days? I know it's petty but I'm not getting letters so I just wanted to get an idea of where they are ...
thanks ladies...
Have a great day :)
