Congrats on everyone who got calls! we are in the 20's!! 29 more days til PIR!! we can do it we can do it we can do it!!!
got a call yesterday
Sorry to interupt "the flow"...just a little "business".
FIRST no one has done anything wrong...this is just an FYI as it happened on another GROUP earlier today. Just looking out for you and your recruits. :-)
As a refresher I am going to repost the link to the PAGE for:
N4M’s Community Guidelines and OPSEC
OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".
I should scroll down first before writing, thank you Dianne, I'll save the number even though it might be a bit to soon, I mentioned those things in my last letter. Which I'm hoping to get a response to by Saturday.
Thanks for the kind words everyone, Just woke up to my first day of being restricted to my house. (joy)
Yeah I will, I notice his division is getting call privileges so hoping for one today or tomorrow. Or he can call his mom, I don't think she's feeling well so if he doesn't call me, I'll assume he called her.
Yay!! for Ship11DIV006 DIV005 and all our calls we got yesterday!!!!
Good Morning all....well yesterday was an exciting day for me ...surprising how a 10 minute phone call can keep you buy all day! (had to call everyone andtell them all about it lol )
I spoke to my SR yesterday...he sounds in great spirits...But that's my kid...he'd make the best of being stranded with a brown bag and a paper clip! Lol I'm just glad he's adjusted well.
They took out his Wisdom tooth with no complications. (thank goodness)
He did say PLEASE keep letters coming!! he said letters brighten up everyone's day. So write, write, write. Lol
He also asked me to send him several copies of the Quesitonaires...other SR liked those and would like to send some out to their parents. I sent him several out already, along with several copies of puzzles, word finds, sports updates, etc, etc.
All in all....we are all half way thru it... :) HAPPY DANCE!!!
That is awesome Betsy, enjoy your shopping day. I took our college girl shopping in Charlotte last week on her way back to school and I actually did a little Christmas shopping myself. I got my Sailor a few things for her house and now I am looking for great gift ideas for very small things she can take on her ship. I got her a Kindle Fire HD for her December birthday so I am thinking an Amazon gift card will be on the Christmas list for sure so she can get lots of books and movies loaded to the Kindle before she deploys. I got my hubby a deep drop electric fishing reel (wife of the year here lol) I am one of those people who puts a lot of thought into each gift to make sure it is something the receiver will really love and appreciate because I love making people happy. I LOVE Christmas and I LOVE shopping but a lot of my gifts are homemade :-)
Dina, I hate that you won't get to go but you have to take care of yourself and your precious baby. Follow your doctors orders :-) Congratulations to you and your family.
