Oooookay. EVERYTHING is arranged and set! I'm flying in Monday night with my youngest son to Midway. Picking up the oldest son and ex in Milwaukee on Tuesday afternoon. Meet and Greet Tuesday evening at the Ramada Inn - to be continued at the Lodge in my room.... Rise EEEEAAARLY Wed for PIR :-)))))  Spend the day in Chicago celebratin' with my Sailor-girl and the fam. Thursday, T-day dinner at the Lodge with new friends and extended Navy family and our Sailors!!!!  Great times a'comin'!!! Leave Friday early evening from Midway with my boys and my ex. Hopefully my girl will have left already. If not....too bad for us as this was the best I could arrange without getting all 'kiddywhompus' on shuffling people and breaking the bank.  Either way, it's ALL good!

 

G'Night my dears. I'm exhausted. Tomorrow is another day, another letter, and time to order those lovely ribbons and find my special red scarf! Whew. I feel MUCH better now.....

silkoutwest, don't worry, as Jenn said, No news is usually good news.   I do know how hard it is to wait for the next letter or phone call.  ((Hugs))

I'm sure he is fine silkoutwest.  As they say - no news is good news.  Maybe he was standing watch when the RDCs let them write or maybe he started a letter and ran out of time before finishing it or maybe when he has had the time he's been too tired.  I know that it is frustrating not to get any mail when you hear everyone else is.  I'm really sorry!!  But if something were wrong you would have heard.  My son only said that was hanging out with really cool, funny guys so I'm sorry I can't be any help to you.  Don't worry - although I know I'd be doing the same.

My son has only mentioned one kid by their last name, but that's it.  I hope you hear something really soon, hang in there.

Okay crew everyone is receiving letters, and phone calls - as of today I still do  not have anything from Great Lakes, Illinois! This momma way out west is wondering why? no communication except for the box, form letter and a 34 second phone call when he arrived

have any of your children mentioned a kid from Valentine, Texas? If so let me know - PPPPLLLLLEEEEAAAASSSSEEE!!!!

all our reservations have been made and my awesome school district has allowed me the time off - so I will have two weekends and five weekdays before I have to return to west texas!!
