Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

You may want to start a discussion above for SEALS/BUDS classes. Then periodically drop in to "bump it up" and remind the ladies on the board that it is there. They tend to forget about the discussions up there sometimes.

Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself, my son's PIR was a year ago this month.
He had a SEAL contract and spent 8 months in pre-buds. I am actively involved in 2 BUDs classes and I am here to help anyone who has a son with a SEAL contract. I can answer your questions, steer you in the right direction regarding other helpful groups or just be your support on this journey. Best of luck.

AZKmom - Your son is in a SPECOPS division.
So we will have at least one SPECOPS. A performing division - the flag carriers, drum, choir (900...902 to be exact) they will perform for several PIR's before their own. I think LaLa can expound on this division better and then the rest of the divisions. The 800's are just seperated into their own group as their training is a bit different. BUT they are all one TG (Training Group). TG 02! Hooyah!

Yes, I believe 800 divisions are spec ops. My son has a contract for SEAL training after basic. 900 divisions are something as well, I think.

I didn't - I left a message but they told me that he was out of the office on some business. :( And I know Monday is a holiday so I know that he won't be in the office at all then and I don't think there is mail either so hopefully it will come tomorrow. I'm sure you got the right info - it jives with Diana's daughters division. The 800 divisions signify something - can't remember what. Special forces? Someone will know.

Congrats AZKmom! I'm still waiting for mine. I saw on another thread that he got there on the 4th. Mine and Tiffani's sons both got to GL on the 29th - so hopefully we will see something soon. I'm starting to get anxious - plus I have letters piling up!
