For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Diana - When I talked to my SAILOR (I just like the sound of it!) yesterday, he sounded horrible too. He told me not to be surprised - that he looks even worse than he sounds. I still think he'll look great to me!

Kendra: The good news is that we think there is another BStations tonight (another group) so the two who didn't pass maybe were allowed to catch some sleep and will go again tonight. I sure hope that they are at PIR tomorrow! Too tired to march, but in uniform in the stands!
Good news is that bedtime for the new sailors will be at 8 pm rather than 10 pm....I'm sure most will fall into their racks. They will still look "mahvelous" tomorrow in their dress blues!
Congrats to the new sailors!

Finally got my call!!!! He sounded exhausted also and was thrilled he doesn't have watch tonight. He did have watch the night of daylight savings so while everyone had an extra hour of sleep, he joked about getting an extra hour of watch. lol He said 801 got a 4.9 out of 5 for Battle Stations!!
Have fun meetin' and greetin' everyone; wish I could be there.

Jenn and Aloha have landed in Mil and we have started our drive into Great Lakes...she didn't leave me!! I think she tried once or twice tho! We both got our Sailor calls while in a lay over in Kansas City...hers was a message and my Sailor made a second attempt and reached me!!! He has watch tonite from midnite to 2am, so he's gonna be exhausted for tomorrow!!!
