YEA 007!!!!! That's MY boy!!!
Hooya 801!!!!!
From the RTC FB site: "Congratulations to this week's Captain's Cup winners! Taking top honors for the all-male divisions was Div. 801 and taking top honors for the integrated divisions was Div. 007"
That's so funny AZK. Like we don't have enough suspense already.
Boarding pass printed...bagssss (yes plural) are packed (ok almost, sticky notes everywhere!!) I can't wait to see my boy!!!
I have to share with you ladies......These are the last 3 lines of my last letter:
"The word on the street is that we are going to be wearing. I gotta go! They're collecting the letters."
At first I thought he just forgot to write "peanut butters" or that he didn't have time as they were collecting letters. NOW I think he knew it would be dress blues and was just "messing with me" hahahaha When will they learn, us Moms have their ways of getting info and "knowing all"!!!
CHICAGO HERE WE COME!!!!!!!
I M SO PROUD OF ALL US... WE "MOM S" DESERVE LOT S OF PRAISE AS WE RAISED SOME PRETTY WONDERFUL CHILDREN
I ESPECIALLY PROUD OF ALL OUR NEW SAILORS I KNOW IT S BEEN A LOT OF HARD WORK TO GET HERE FOR THEM
I CANT WAIT TO SEE THEM IN DRESS BLUES ....WOW THE THOUGHT BRINGS ME CHILLS
HOPEFULLY FOR ALL OF US TRAVELING THE WEATHER WILL BE ON OUR SIDE
SAFE TRIP TO ALL CAN T WAIT TO MEET YOU
Good Morning ladies! Here's expecting some I'm a Sailor calls starting around 2 pm GL time today! HOOYAH!
Alrighty ladies.....final forecast. We have hit the jackpot!! Tomorrow may be a little rainy, BUT Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be very nice ( for a late November day in the Northern Chicago suburbs)!! Be aware, though, that we will be up at the crack of dawn on Wednesday, so it will still be cool that early in the morning but the day should bring a ton of sun!!
Jo if I see you I'll come say hi! And anyone wearing a red scarf will also get a hello!! Have fun with those phone calls today and tomorrow! ProudMom, PRAYING you get a call today as well :)
AZMom: Currently Kenosha, I'm originally from Franklin. Matt is from Kenosha. I really love it in Kenosha. I've met some amazing people and discovered the simple things in life (sitting on the rocks by the lake cuddling with Matt, for example). :)
I keep getting random bursts of excitement that I can't contain. I think I may be driving my roommate (a good friend of mine) crazy. I'm driving myself crazy right now; have to sit still because I'm re-dyeing my hair (roots were a little grown out!).
ProudMom: Your SR can do iittttt! :)
For all those flying in or driving in; it's been pretty windy here. If you're planning on skirts or something of the like, be mindful. LOL.
Wednesday I'll be wearing a gray sweater-dress-thing with a teal long sleeve shirt underneath. Don't be afraid to come up and say hi! :D
