For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Got a letter today, I can actually feel the energy coming from the letter, he's pretty excited now. He said his division earned 2 flags and they have a chance to earn two more flags on Tuesday (yesterda), so he said he will see how that goes. He is pretty excited about how everyone is coming together. Just wanted to share :-)

Hi RCPO - thank you so much for joining the group. My son is in 007 and has always had really good things to say about how well 008 works together - that is in large part due to what a good job you did. I am so sorry that you were separated and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers that your waiver process goes smoothly and you get back to Great Lakes as soon as you can. Thank you so much for offering to serve our country. And for giving all us moms a glimpse into what our kids are experiencing.
