Love the ideas of random facts. Where are you finding them?
I have written 10 letters in the last 2 weeks so he is getting plenty of mail.
Thanks Jennifer. I bought him a halloween card which i will mail today. I have held off writing for a couple days cause all i want to say is why have you not written yet? Today I can move past that and just write a positive letter to uplift him. He was living at home till he left so the house is real quiet and i miss him alot. But I guess this is just the beginning since he is div 802 and will be away from home for a long long time.
Bears Nana, time was going way too slow for me too, I haven't heard from my SR in 2 weeks. So, I wrote up my own questionnaire last night, and today I went to the store and bought him a b-day card, a halloween card, a thanksgiving card, and two random fun "Thinking of you" cards. It made me super giddy and excited just to get him cards, silly huh? But it passed time, and I actually feel better just knowing he's going to get these cards and love them!! I've also researched tons of "random facts" that I will be sending him, including "Facts about Farting". Something he'll get a kick out of and be able to share with others and maybe give everyone a laugh.
Also the time seems to be going slow for me. Maybe it would go faster if I heard from my SR
I found the best deal for rental cars with the info from the brochure that came with the form letter. ACE Rent a car at www.acerentacar.com/gf. Use the promo code GF for the discount for PIR WE saved almost $100 off AAA rate.
Might be a good idea for one of you to start a discussion above if you decide to use Sarge's service to see if you can coordinate with another family and share the car. He usually has minivans, etc...so can take a number of people. Will cut down on the cost for each of you. Maybe entitle it: Who needs rides from the airport to RTC...ask that the people put airport and arrival time down. This has been done on previous groups and has worked out well.
Midway is the furthest airport from RTC (OHare and Milwaukee are the closer ones). We always recommend you rent a car if you are able to. Or....allow Sarge to provide your transportation 847-212-0246
The train station is very close to RTC. Regular cab service in Great Lakes is a little pricey, so best to either rent a car or rely on Sarge. Call or text him for info and rates. If you can share a ride from the airport, it is cheaper for you.

This is the link to a TV interview with Brett's brother/father in Jacksonville this past Friday. Brett is a miracle, but still very critical (5 days after the incident)...facing challenges each day (still sedated). The Lord is very present there with him, the staff, and his family/friends. Thanks so much for your prayers, ladies.
They don't tell you which company it is with until you pay for the car but it was the best price we were able to find out of Midway for Thursday - Saturday.
