Thank you Diannep
Ladies, since this will be such a large group, it is possible that RTC will not allow extra guests in (those not on the 4 person guest lists that your SRs wrote). But remember....children under 12 do not count and don't have to be on the lists. Retired military with proper ID can come in without being on the lists too.
Yvonne: Yes, they can update their guest lists a week or two before PIR.
15 divisions....wow....
Good Morning All !
ChiefDad - Here is the manning of the different ships since 2011. Just to give you an idea of how they do this. Just scroll down and you will see the number of divisions.... It would be kind of cool to be in the 1st 15 division group....

ChiefDad - as I said, there is always a 1st. There has never been a 15 division group since Jan 2011. However, this group is the last of the surge groups, so it very well could be.
Here is info on the "surge":

FTLW - I use to have a connection at the PAO. I'm going to send you a portion of what she said in a pm....
Craig, Last year when we had two 14 Divsion PIR's in March RTC FB released a statement about extra guests not getting in. They also stated that the PIR Hall could hold up to 16 Divisions. I wish I had saved the body as it is gone on the FB site.
BUT I guess we'll see...I mean they did not allow ANY extra's at this last 14 Divison and at those in March it was just a caution that they would not get in along with tips for such a large PIR.
I'll poke, maybe I saved the body of that Note somewhere...I have to wade through my stuff...LOL
Making to many typos...tired... :-)
Just hang tight everyone...stay here...if there are changes we will find out...
Yyonne - Not sure about the mom, one the vet moms will know the answer to that.
Your SRs will get the opportunity sometime in the last two weeks of BC to update and change the original list they made for PIR.
Since this is a very large TG it is possible (and most likely) that extra guests will not be allowed in to PIR. This does not mean that you shouldn't bring everyone that wants to come, just make sure your SR knows who should be on the list. The RTC will post at a later date if extras will not be allowed in.
Remember after PIR your "sailor" will have Friday to see and visit with everyone, and if they stay in GL for A School they will have daytime liberty all weekend.
I have added the division discussion groups for this TG. Please remember to post general comments and concerns here on the main wall. Your SRs will be going to school with others from this TG and will become friends, so get to know everyone. :)
We "vet" moms also ask that you don't start additional discussion groups. This TG is the largest we have seen in a long time, and we don't want anything you ask, or a concern you may have to get "lost" here.
We will also be adding a few more discussion about what will be going on with your SRs.
Every question is valid!
Every concern is genuine!
Every member is important!
