raynor - I am going to friend you...and then we can work on it from there, k?
Ok, I'm getting one date for 801 and one date for 802 for BattleStations. That is odd since being brother divisions. they should be going at the same time. Sigh....
Thanks so much for posting here, SailorMom! So glad that you got up there!
Another bit of advice....go to SARGE's meet and greet. I believe you can sign up...on the right hand side of this page. He gives GREAT advice! Good food! And you get to meet a bunch of the NAVYFORMOM's in person!
Two taxi's to keep numbers for:
Sarge:847-212-0246 and Chris:847-343-0209
awesome people, they know how to get you anywhere you need to be! How relaxing it was to just rely on them!
My son graduated on the 21st! I will be leaving Great Lakes in the morning. Just wanted to leave a little note for those of you who are coming in.... PLEASE dress warm!! Especially if you are from the south like I am. It is COLD!! and WINDY! Hats, gloves, coats, layers.... The weather people may say it'll be 45....but with the wind it feels more like 30-35. Just a bit of advice! I've had a ball being here! ENJOY YOUR SR'S!!
Weather Weather Weather Weather 11/29 42 p/c 11/30 45 rain 12/1 45 rain 12/2 50 rain. Pretty darned balmy for Chicago in December !! We are lucky!
Talked to my SR about an hour ago. Captain's Cup was today for this group. Division 023 took 2nd place for integrated Divisions. Don't know who took 1st for integrated and non-integrated. Can't wait to see him in 6 days!
rayner: Sorry, I have no idea how to do that! I have always just added one pik at a time. Maybe FTLW knows?
Well it is possible that they had Captains Cup today since there were no BattleStations last night for this group so all were rested. They have gone on Friday before, but it is rare. Guess we shall see if someone calls home with info! They go in the mornings.
What a wonderful Thanksgiving. We picked Cyle, our son, & Anthony, our adopted SR, up at 8:15am at calls tRTC. The first thing they asked to do was to go eat a real breakfast. Then we went to IL Beach resort for a fabulous dinner buffet. Cyle had his phone & I gave Aonthony my phone & they made calls home. Then it was decided to go see a movie. Robbie, our 5yr old, wanted to see Reck It Ralph, so that's the move Cyle said we were seeing. He wanted to spend time with his little brother. Then after the movie they wanted to eat again, so we went to a cozy family restraunt had some supper & just sat & enjoyed our time together. We dropped them back off at RTC at 7:15 giving both them big long hugs & a see ya next Friday. Very much enjoyed our day with our son Cyle & our adopted SR Anthony.
