Ditto what Lala said, Ladies. This is all "new stuff." I have been on here since late 2009 and 12 and under were not on the list--always, which allowed families to come in full. Retired military/active duty were also not on the list either...now, they said they are.
We do understand that your PIR group is the largest ever.....15 divisions. There is a space problem, but they have seated group of 14 divisions before....and although very full, it worked out.
Anyway, we N4Moms veterans are very sad that you are caught up in this....wish we could "change it."...
I just want to say that all these changes break my heart. It is so sad that some families will get there and not know about this and a parent will have to miss their Sailors's PIR because they cannot leave a child alone in a hotel room or in the Base parking lot. I guess they don't know you can't change the rules in the middle of a game. People have already spent lots of money to make this very special trip and it is too bad they didn't let people know far enough in advance to make this easier for everyone. I am so sorry y'all are having to deal with this :(
Welcome 2fast4u!, I am so glad your recruit had you join this group. There is so much info here that will help you prepare for PIR/graduation :) I am one of the moms who helps answer questions on this site. My daughter had PIR in July 2010 and she was also in the choir. It was amazing to hear her singing, I could not stop the pride flowing out of my tear ducts :) You may be able to find pics of her performing this Friday and next Wednesday. Let me know if you need help with that. feel free to send me a friend request if you like.
Good Morning Ladies!
Thanks, I finally found the reply in the middle of ALL the comments.
I added both replies that were posted today on RTC FB up in this Discussion:
RTC Policies on: No Extra Guests for PIR/Access List
To see the orignal go to their FB Page:

I tried to follow the link about active duty and retired military needing to be on the list, but I don't see that posted anywhere. Just the original posting. Please tell me what I am missing that I don't see the second post.
Thanks.
Welcome 2fast4u! Glad to see you found the group. Lots of chat going on right now on here because of "rule" changes for PIR at the last minute. UGH....I hope you look through the discussions above in the FORUM and the PAGES above and to the right for lots of info!
Oh, I hope that you do! Can't wait til 11/30! I almost missed it. That stupid thing wasn't ringing & I know he would be calling, so I called our house to see if my phone was working. As soon as I hung up, he called. If I would have made that call a few seconds later, he would have gotten a busy signal. Pppphhhheeewww
Debbie, yes, she is in Chorus. According to her letter they are very busy this week. I'm glad your son is doing well. When i saw your post i got excited and want to hurry home just to see if my daughter would call. I've only gotten one phone call from her since she been in boot camp. Plenty of letters though:-). She did mention to me that she may be able to call after this week. So hopefully, I will hear her voice soon.
