WELCOME TO PIR 11/20/2012

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

I posted rayner's pictures up above in the AAS discussion. They are direct links. It seems for some resaon it is still hard to find them just by going to her page. IDK why...will have to ask the site admin.

I willl post the direct links here as well but am going to walk you through it too :-):

http://www.navyformoms.com/photo/albums/turkey-day-11-22-12-divisio...

http://www.navyformoms.com/photo/albums/thanksgiving-day-11-22-12-d...

-Click "Photos", up top on the TAB line.

-Just underneath the TABs you will see:

All Photos All Albums My Photos My Albums

-Click "All Albums"

You will see them there in the second row. They are there for now as "Photos" "All Albums" is set to show the lastest ones.

But that is how you would find them.

Each TAB pretty much has it's own search features. You can type something into the sarch box on the left and then also chose a few different ways to search as well. Alphabetical, most popular, etc.

I know it can be easy to "get lost" on here (as in "how did I do that?) but I just clicked things on the site and then used the back button. Uh, a lot! Then I learned that when I came across soemthing I wanted to go back too, I just saved the link in my favorites on my Computer. Then I made Files to categorize them...for the most part. I am only half organized!

bayoukat110 - not diannep....but calls should start coming in anytime now. Usually they are starting to do so about 2 PM GL time. I am in SoCal and it is 12 PM here. It could vary today though...haven't had a Thursday BST-21 in a long time.

I know the feeling...it's like "everything else is 'on hold'" until you get it!

Hope it is soon!

Thanks diannep! Do you have any idea when calls come in? I'm worried sick and can't seem to get anything done but check my phone constantly.

Woot-woot! On the road again!

Saw sundance saloon last w/e. within eyesight of spring hill suites and courtyard marriott. Walmart w/groceries right there too. 15 minutes from navy lodge. See you all in about 5 hours!

So happy for your soon-to-be sailor, bayoukatt!  Hoping that you have one by now!

Bumped it up for ya, 1Sailor/1Marine.  If it "disappears" again, just hit VIEW ALL at the bottom and scroll through.  Hope you are "in the air" now!

Hi everyone! I just joined your group this morning. My son was set to graduate last week but had problems with his run. I finally got a call Monday saying that he passed and was waiting to go thru Battlestations. I'm assuming he is going thru with one of these training groups. I am hoping I get another call sometime today saying he is finally a Sailor. Good Luck to everyone and enjoy your visit with your Sailors!
