Oh, so sorry lala to hear that his sister passed away and I know you are right that she was watching over him during battlestations. You and your family have my continued prayers. God watches over us all the time. Thank you for your ribbon efforts and they turned out beautiful, thanks again.

I just wanted to thank everyone for your continued support and prayers. Our SR (daughters fiancee) had battle stations last night and will be flying home today. He will not participate in the PIR ceremony. Hopefully the weather will be better today and no flights will be grounded. His sister was in a bad car accident Sunday night. She passed away yesterday morning and I am sure she was a special Angel watching over her brother during battle stations last night along with the other soon to be sailors. Please keep all those involved in your prayers. I really appreciate you all.

Dont be offended I just saw that on FB and thought maybe we need to be aware!

not sure if you all follow facebook rtc... but they are being very stern about sharing when battlestations are! they say its a security threat! "Please do not give out specifics about tests, specifically times. We need to get people think early about Operational Security. Although Battle Stations is just a test, while Sailors are in the fleet in a situation like Battle Stations giving out specific times compromises the Sailors safety."

Ladies: There is a discrepancy in the 951 BattleStations date. Reported first for Sunday, now for Tuesday. If anyone hears from their recruit about this, please report...or if a phone call is received, please ask.
